'To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.' Ephesians 3:21
From the beginning
Where we are now
Landford Methodist Church has a long history dating back to 1866 where a small building was built and then licensed as a Methodist church. This started a whole history of a rural church worshipping God and being an active part of the community. The hall was built in the 1970's which provides a great space to hold events and informal worship.
We have started to have United services with St Andrews Church at Landford on the first and third Sunday of each month. This has not only brought two churches together but has also given us as a community an opportunity to grow as churches together. We also are in the process of refurbishing the main chapel to make it more up to date and functional.
